Rosetti Tinley Backpack – Everyday Carry & Organization
The Rosetti Tinley Backpack is designed for those who carry more than just the basics. We built this pack with a multi-compartment layout that keeps your phone, wallet, cosmetics, water bottle, and tablet organized without the bulk of traditional backpacks.
Lightweight yet durable, the Tinley features structured sides that hold their shape whether you're packing light or loading it down. Padded adjustable straps distribute weight evenly across your shoulders, making it comfortable for all-day wear during commutes, errands, or weekend getaways.
Our signature front-zip pocket gives you instant access to keys and transit cards, while interior slip pockets keep smaller items from disappearing into the main compartment. The Tinley transitions seamlessly from workday to weekend, pairing well with both casual and polished looks.
Design & organization details

Materials & Construction
We craft the Rosetti Tinley Backpack from water-resistant polyester that stands up to daily wear while keeping the overall weight under one pound when empty. The fabric features a subtle texture that resists scuffs and light abrasions, maintaining a polished appearance even after months of regular use.
Reinforced stitching at stress points—shoulder strap attachments, zipper corners, and bottom seams—extends the pack’s lifespan beyond typical fashion backpacks. The zippers are oversized pulls that glide smoothly even when the compartment is packed full, and we’ve chosen metal hardware over plastic for added durability.

Compartment Layout & Organization
The main compartment opens wide with a two-way zipper, giving you full visibility and access to packed items. Inside, you’ll find a padded sleeve that accommodates tablets up to 10 inches, along with dual slip pockets sized for smartphones and power banks.
Our front zippered pocket is divided into two sections—one larger area for sunglasses or a small notebook, and a smaller mesh divider for lip balm, hand sanitizer, or charging cables. This separation keeps frequently accessed items from getting tangled or lost.
Sizing & Fit Guidance
The Rosetti Tinley Backpack measures 12 inches tall, 10 inches wide, and 5 inches deep, making it compact enough for crowded transit while offering enough volume for a full day’s essentials. We classify this as a medium-sized daypack—larger than a mini backpack designed for minimal carry, but smaller than expedition-style packs.
Shoulder straps adjust from 18 to 32 inches in length, accommodating a range of torso sizes and allowing you to customize the fit whether you’re wearing the pack over a thin blouse or a bulky winter coat. The straps are spaced 7 inches apart at the top attachment points, which prevents them from sliding off narrower shoulders.

Common Questions About the Tinley Backpack
The Tinley's padded sleeve is designed for tablets up to 10 inches, so a 13-inch laptop will not fit in that dedicated compartment. However, the main compartment is spacious enough to accommodate a slim 13-inch laptop if you place it vertically along the back panel.
For regular laptop carry, we recommend our Morgan Travel Backpack, which includes a padded laptop sleeve specifically sized for devices up to 15 inches.
We do not recommend machine washing the Tinley, as the agitation and heat can damage the water-resistant coating and structured panels. Instead, spot-clean stains with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air-dry the pack completely.
For deeper cleaning, hand-wash the exterior with lukewarm water and a gentle detergent, keeping the interior as dry as possible. Allow it to air-dry with all zippers open to promote airflow.
The shoulder straps on the Rosetti Tinley Backpack are permanently attached and cannot be removed or tucked away. They adjust in length but remain visible as part of the bag's design.
If you're looking for a convertible option that switches between backpack and tote carry modes, our Quinn Convertible Tote Backpack features straps that can be stored inside zippered pockets when not in use.
The Tinley is designed for daily essentials and moderate loads up to approximately 15 pounds. Beyond that weight, the padded straps still provide cushioning, but the bag's compact size and structure are optimized for lighter, organized packing rather than heavy-duty hauling.
For carrying heavier items like textbooks, gym equipment, or multiple days' worth of clothing, consider our Ellis Weekender Backpack, which offers a larger capacity and reinforced frame.
The Tinley's water-resistant polyester repels light rain and splashes, keeping contents dry during brief exposure to wet conditions. However, it is not fully waterproof and prolonged exposure to heavy rain may eventually allow moisture to seep through the zippers and seams.
For maximum protection during downpours, we suggest using a separate rain cover or storing electronics and important documents in individual waterproof pouches inside the pack.
Yes, the side pockets are elasticized and extend approximately 7 inches deep, which securely holds standard-sized water bottles, compact umbrellas, and other tall items. The elastic gathers at the top to grip the item, preventing it from sliding out during movement.
We've tested the pockets with 16-ounce and 20-ounce bottles, both of which stay firmly in place even when the pack is worn during brisk walking or light jogging.
The Tinley is currently available in classic black, navy blue, and charcoal gray. These neutral tones pair easily with a wide range of outfits and maintain a professional appearance for work or travel.
